Our driver will pick you up from the airport and transfer to your accommodation in Nairobi. Upon arrival, a short briefing will be done and then you may relax until the evening when we will have welcome party for the entire group. A few drinks will be included to welcome you to Kenya!

After breakfast, you will have a basic Swahili language class followed by a cooking class. After lunch, you will visit the Museum of Kenya, followed by the Bomas of Kenya to learn about Kenyan history. Then, return to your accommodation for dinner and rest.

Spend the day volunteering at an organization of your choice. We will have more information for you once the global pandemic has ended.
After breakfast, we will drive North of Nairobi passing through the Equator, and the majestic Mount Kenya en route to the open savannah of the Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch, and check in at Sabache Camp. After lunch, you will have some time to relax before you go for an evening game drive. After, come back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Today, you will have morning and afternoon game drives exploring the park. The highlights of Samburu game reserve is the spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and forests. It is an area where the local people have a rich and colorful heritage. The reserves have numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife which includes leopards, hippos, elephants, lions, reticulated giraffes, grevy zebas and crocodiles in the Ewaso Nyiro River. Over 365 specifies of birds have been identified in the reserve. You may also add on a highly recommended optional visit (for $10 per person) to Samburu Village where you learn about the Samburu Culture and witness their cultural dances.

After breakfast, you will depart for Naivasha. On the way you can stop for views of the beautiful Thomson Falls. You will arrive just in time for lunch. Afterwards, you will visit Hell’s Gate National Park. Here, you can do either cycling or driving, or even alternate driving with walking. This park is a breeding ground for Vultures in Kenya. You may see a lammergeyer vulture, but we also anticipate species like Imperial Eagles, Schalow’s Wheatear, and Chin Spot Batis. Later, there will be an optional boat ride (extra $30 per person) or boat ride and walking safari (additional $50 per person) at Crescent Island on Lake Naivasha. Then, proceed to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Depart for the Amboseli National Park. The drive is via the Nairobi – Mombasa highway, and through Masai country as you head to Amboseli which lies at the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro. Check in at your hotel, and then spend the afternoon on a game drive in search of elephants, cheetahs, lions and other plains game. Mount Kilimanjaro in its majesty shall provide the most natural background for wildlife photography.

Wake up early morning for an amazing view of Mount Kilimanjaro, which is also know as the roof of Africa. Enjoy morning breakfast and then head for a full day adventure inside the park. Amboseli National Park is rich with wildlife. A picnic lunch will be provided will be served in the park, and there will be an optional visit to the Masai village whereby the Masai warriors will entertain you by dancing, singing and showing you around their homestead.

After an early morning breakfast, depart for Tsavo East National Park. Game drives en route to the lodge for lunch as well as check-in. Afternoon game drives through Kenya’s largest park, with a chance to spot herds of Red Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, Gazelles, Buffalos, Waterbucks, Impalas and different bird species.

Depart for Malindi after breakfast. On the way you will enjoy a game drive as you check out of the park. After lunch, visit Marafa Depression also known as Hell’s Kitchen. A guide will walk you around the lip of the gorge and into it’s heart of sandstone spikes and melted-candle-like formations, while telling you the story of the Hell’s Kitchen.

Visit the Ruin of Gedi, a national museum. The site of Gedi includes a walled town and it’s outlying area. All of the standing buildings at Gedi, which include mosques, a palace, and numerous houses, are made from stone, are one-storey, and are distributed unevenly in the town. It has a rich archaeological value, the 500 year-old baobab trees, mosques, and tombs are believed to be supernatural powers.

After breakfast, do an excursion visiting Mombasa’s Old Town, and Fort Jesus. Later, transfer to Diani.

You will have two whole days at leisure. You can walk the beach, spend the day at the pool, or do any of the water sports available for you to book on site. (At your own cost)

Early breakfast, then pick up to transfer to the train station to catch up with your 8:30am train to Nairobi. Upon arrival, have one final lunch with the group, and then transfer to the airport for your flight.
